If you’re anything like me, laundry was a weekly task that I just assumed would always take up a portion of each weekend. From the time I was in college, I would look for reasons to delay folding the mounds of clean clothes that frequented a corner of my bed. I’ll admit it: I hate folding laundry! Beyond that, I don’t even consider ironing clothes. To me, the act of “doing laundry” just meant making the dirty clothes clean again. As I moved into the professional world my need for non-wrinkled clothes threw a wrench in my usual lack of folding routine.

Despite my disinterest in folding, I never knew there was a better option. Laundry was laundry and it would always be there…

That all changed a few months ago. One of my friends casually mentioned that her laundry was being dropped off that afternoon. I had no idea what she was talking about, and when I saw the large, orange “Mango Laundry Club” bag near her door, I was even more intrigued. She had found a way to eliminate the weekly folding sessions and didn’t even have to take it anywhere for the laundry to be done. The next day I found myself exploring the Mango website, curious about this option. The special price lured me in, and within a day of learning that laundry clubs existed, I became a customer. The process was easy, and a week later when my entire load of laundry came back clean and folded, I was sold! I still catch myself looking for the piles of laundry to fold on Sunday afternoons, but knowing that they aren’t there is always a great feeling. I am still new to the Club, but after a few weeks of having this boring chore made so much easier, I think it is safe to say I don’t ever want to do laundry again.
